Currently, am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellow at the Biopsychology lab at the University of Cologne and the Centre for Gambling Research (CGR) at the Department of Psychology, University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada. I am interested in emotional experience in gambling episodes.

I have done my PhD under the supervision of Prof. Frederick Verbruggen (ECoBird lab)  and Prof. Joël Billieux at Ghent University.

During my PhD I investigated cognitive (control) mechanisms and their role in gambling. I specifically investigated changes in response speed (speed of play) after sub-optimal outcomes such as errors or losses in the broader context of impulsivity. 

​In my free time, I love to go rock climbing outdoors.
